The National Statistician has been asked to reply to your recent Parliamentary Question concerning how many civil servants are currently paid in excess of (a) £100,000 and (b) £200,000 per annum. I am replying in her absence. (HL824.) The Office for National Statistics collects the annual salaries of civil servants, as part of the Annual Civil Service Employment Survey (ACSES).
