Courts: Repairs and Maintenance

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice how much was spent on the refurbishment of court buildings in each of the last three years.

The following amounts were spent on refurbishment of Crown, county and magistrates court buildings in each of the last three financial years:

The large increase during 2008-09 is due to the completion of major refurbishment projects during the year at the Royal Courts of Justice, and at the Crown court at Isleworth.
