Civil Servants: Conditions of Employment

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster which (a) positions and (b) pay bands within the Home Civil Service have terms and conditions of employment which stipulate that post holders must not undertake external paid employment in their own time; what restrictions apply in each case; and for what reasons such restrictions apply.
