To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how many times the police have been called to jobcentres in each year since 1997; and what the reasons were, broken down by category.

Jobcentre Plus does not routinely capture information on how often and for what reasons the police are called to jobcentres. Where any situation arises that puts, or could put, staff or members of the public in danger, Jobcentre Plus will, as a matter of course, involve the local police force.
