To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of revenue lost to the Exchequer as a result of tax evasion in 2008-09.

There are no estimates of the revenue lost specifically to tax evasion. HMRC published the latest available estimates of tax losses in the Autumn Performance Report 2008:

The estimates given in this report include evasion with other causes of losses.
