To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many of the 100,000 jobs the Government plans to create he expects to result from school capital projects.

A tentative estimate of the number of jobs that will be created from the acceleration of schools capital funding during the financial year 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2010 is 10,000.
