Channel Tunnel Railway Line: Fares

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will seek to secure from the Intergovernmental Commission a reduction in charges levied for train traffic through the Channel Tunnel.

The Intergovernmental Commission does not set charges for train traffic through the Channel Tunnel. These are set in the Rail Usage Contract and the Network Statement, which is a matter for Eurotunnel.
