Immigration: Gurkhas

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many Gurkhas have been deported in each of the last five years.

The Home Office publishes statistics on the number of persons removed and departed voluntarily from the UK on a quarterly and annual basis. These statistics are broken down by nationality only. To disaggregate Gurkhas from these statistics could be done only through the examination of individual records at disproportionate cost.
