English Heritage: Finance Bob Spink To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what income English Heritage has derived from the heritage sites it owns and manages in the last 12 months; and what proportion of that income was used to meet expenditure on (a) site maintenance, (b) publicity and (c) staffing. Barbara Follett English Heritage advises that its total expenditure on the conservation, maintenance, capital development and operational management of its property portfolio in 2008-09 was £64.4 million. Earned income was £41.2 million.
