Privacy: Impact Assessments

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what his Department's policy is on performing privacy impact assessments to accompany new regulations or legislation.

It is the Department's policy to follow the Information Commissioner's guidance on when a privacy impact assessment is required and how it should be carried out.
