NHS: Employment Agencies

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will bring forward proposals to increase the number of regionally-based recruitment agencies used to supply staff to the NHS.

The recently awarded nursing framework has given agencies the opportunity to tender on both a regional and national basis and the framework has been awarded regionally i.e. aligned to strategic health authority boundaries.
