11. To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what recent discussions he has had with the Chief Secretary to the Treasury on the Presbyterian Mutual Society.

The Chief Secretary and the Secretary of State are both members of the ministerial working group set up by the Prime Minister.

They, along with Ministers from the Northern Ireland Executive, have been in regular contact in an attempt to find ways to assist members of the Society whose investments were affected by the Society’s entry into administration.
