To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will issue guidance to police forces to take account of the judgment of the Supreme Court on the right to make representations about information held on individuals and disclosed by a Criminal Records Bureau check; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Hanson
Guidance will be issued by the Home Office in consultation with the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) to take account of the judgment of the Supreme Court as it related to those cases where a right of representation may be appropriate.
