Gospel Oak-Barking Railway Line

To ask the Minister of State, Department for Transport what recent discussions he has had with the Mayor of London on the electrification of the Barking to Gospel Oak line; and if he will make a statement.

None. I understand that Transport for London consider that further development work would be required for them to assess this project, but they are not currently funding this.
