To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office if she will place in the Library a copy of the guidance note on costing Opposition policies; and on what date that guidance was last updated.

Tessa Jowell
Guidance on costing the policies of Opposition parties is a long-standing convention that has been followed by successive Governments. The guidance is set out in Volume 1 of the “Directory of Civil Service Guidance”. A copy will be placed in the Libraries of the House.
