Human Trafficking: Victims

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many people have been referred through the National Referral Mechanism since 1 April 2009; and how many of them were conclusively identified as trafficked victims.

Between 1 April 2009 and 28 February 2010 there have been 626 referrals made to the National Referral Mechanism and 193 conclusive grounds decisions of which 105 were positive conclusive grounds decisions.
