Huw Irranca-Davies There are 950,000 properties registered to receive warnings from the Environment Agency’s Floodline Warnings Direct (FWD) service. Around 840,000 of these are homes and about 110,000 are businesses. As of 31 March 2010, almost 150,000 properties have received warnings since FWD was established on 25 January 2006.
