asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what discussions he has had with the national associations of sports other than football in regard to ground safety.

I met representatives of the Rugby League on 4 June and representatives of the Test and County Cricket Board on 21 June. Our discussions covered crowd control and behaviour and ground safety.
