Arabian States (Nationals) Mr. Arthur Lewis asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the past, present and possible future terrorist and murder attacks made in Great Britain by persons from Arabian States, he will instruct the immigration officers at the various ports of entry into Great Britain to keep a more strict watch and control upon entrants from the Arabian States and to make sure of these people giving bona fide reasons for entry and proper addresses of residence on entry. Mr. Raison Immigration officers are well aware that counter-terrorist precautions are to be given high priority. In the light of recent events port and visa staff are aware of the need for extra vigilance.
