Planning Legislation Mr. Macfarlane asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many applications within the town and country planning legislation are currently being determined by him; and if he will indicate those cases where consideration has taken longer than (a) three months, (b) six months and (c) one year. Mr. Waldegrave I understand that my hon. Friend is referring to called-in planning applications. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State currently has 124 such applications under consideration, 62 of which were called in between three and six months ago; 47 between six months and one year ago; and 15 over one year ago.
