Select Committees (Evidence)

asked the Minister for Civil Service when the revised memorandum of guidance to officials on the provision of evidence to Select Committees is to be issued to Departments; and if he will notify the hon. Member for Ormskirk when a copy is placed in the Library.

I expect the memorandum to be issued to Departments within about two weeks, and will notify the hon. Member when a copy has been placed in the Library.
