Commons Amendment 15 Clause 2, page 3, line 41, after 'offence,' insert reasonably'. The Earl of MANSFIELD My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendment. The purpose of this amendment, which was moved in another place by the honourable Member for the Western Isles, is to provide that the power to take fingerprints or other prints from a detained person is exercised only where a constable reasonably considers this appropriate.
