Pre-War Pensioners 67. Mr. HOPKINS asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Special Committee of the Cabinet which is to consider relief for pre-War pensioners will deal with the hard case of the pensioned non-commissioned officers who came back to the Army and were given commissions? Mr. BALDWIN The Committee propose to reconsider the scale of benefits allowed under the Pensions Increase Act, but will not deal with the pension regulations applicable to particular classes. Mr. HOPKINS Could the right hon. Gentleman say how these particular cases have been dealt with? Mr. BALDWIN Perhaps my hon. Friend will send me particulars.
