To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the results of his evaluation of the Property Services Agency's selection of control properties experiment, terminated in the autumn of 1988.

The radical option experiment to which I believe the hon. Member refers has provided valuable lessons for Government Departments and the Agency when they assume their new responsibilities for property management from April 1990.
