Crofting Counties

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he estimates that more or less assistance has become available to the croft counties area as a result of the ending of the crofting countries road scheme.

Schemes under the crofter counties programme are still continuing, and approved expenditure on them will attract 100 per cent. grant from the Government.
