Public Accounts Committee Mr. Shersby To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many of the recommendations made by the Committee of Public Accounts during 1990–91 were accepted by the Government; if he will make an estimate of the savings that were made as a result; and if he will make a statement. Mr. Dorrell The Government pay close attention to all the Public Accounts Committee's recommendations and have agreed with the majority of them. It is not possible to quantify resulting savings.
