Crofters' Grazings In The Island Of Lewis MR. WEIR I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether, in view of the fact that large areas of the crofters' common grazings in the Island of Lewis are absolutely valueless for grazing purposes, being merely skinned land from which the peat has been removed, he will consider the expediency of introducing an Amendment or clause into the Small Landholders (Scotland) Bill to render such land available for fishermen's dwellings. MR. SINCLAIR The point shall be considered, but it does not seem desirable that I should give any undertaking now to extend the present scope of this Bill.
