asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what has been the total of central Government financial assistance to Urdd Gobaith Cymru in each of the past five years; and whether he can yet say what proposals the Government have for this aid in the coming year.

As a new approach to the assessment of recurrent grants towards headquarters administration costs is under negotiation, the amount for 1975–76 has not yet been determined. The grant allocated in the coming year to capital projects sponsored by the organisation will not be known for some months.
