Local Health Councils

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects to be able to respond to the revised scheme for the provision of local health councils within the Highland health board area; and if he will make a statement.

Schemes for local health councils have been submitted by 12 health boards, including Highland. These are currently being considered.
