Excess Packaging

I beg to present a petition on behalf of the National Association of Ladies' Circles of Great Britain and Ireland. The petition sheweth: That there is considerable waste of time, money and materials related to the excess packaging of non-perishable goods, with consequent increase in cost to the public and increased waste materials, and that the recycling of waste materials on a much larger scale should be encouraged. Wherefore your petitioners pray that: The House takes steps to limit the excess packaging of non-perishable goods by legislation, and to encourage the recycling of waste material on a larger scale than at present.And your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray.
