asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he will be able to publish the number of patients in England awaiting admission to National Health Service hospitals on 31st March 1977.

None of these data has yet been received from health authorities. Experience of previous returns suggests that, production of national summaries will not be possible until some four to five months after the census date.
