Mr. Perkins
asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the amount of duty per proof gallon chargeable on spirits on 1st August, 1914, 1st August, 1939, and at the present time; and the comparative consumption in proof gallons in the years 1914, 1939 and 1942, respectively?
