Welsh Language Mr. Wigley To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will place a copy in the Library of his Department's policy guidelines in relation to the use of the Welsh language in Wales by his Department. Sir Wyn Roberts Current policy regarding the use of Welsh in the internal administration of the department is based on the guidelines set out in the Hughes Parry report on the status of the Welsh language. This policy is currently being reviewed in the light of the guidelines prepared by the Welsh Language Board. I will place a copy of any new guidelines in the Library of the House once they have been finalised.
