asked the Secretary of State for Wales what progress has been made in the redistribution of resources to ameliorate inequalities in the provision of social and health services since the end of 1979 in Wales.

Special revenue allocations of £375,000 each at November 1978 prices will be made in 1980–81 to Dyfed and West Glamorgan health authorities to reduce inequalities in present allocations. The levels of expenditure on personal social services are the responsibility of individual local authorities.
