Government policy is to encourage greater recreational use of reservoirs.

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what plans he has to allow recreational facilities such as fishing and boating on the reservoir at Hope Mountain, East Flintshire; and if he will make a statement.

While it is Government policy to promote a greater recreational use of reservoirs, individual proposals should be taken up directly with reservoir owners.
