asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many minesweepers are in Royal Naval service; and how many are on order.

There are currently 41 mine counter measures vessels in service with the Royal Navy. Two Hunt class dual role minehunter/sweepers and one Sandown class single role minehunter are on order.
