asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will make a statement on the extension by the Greater London Council of the Crossness Sewerage Works, in view of the proposed development of the adjacent Woolwich-Erith marsh area for high-density housing.

I am arranging a meeting with the Greater London Council, together with representatives of Greenwich  and Bexley London Borough Councils, to discuss the future of the Crossness works.
