Nuclear Waste

Mr. Cohen
asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list those of the 1,500 sites investigated for the storage of low or intermediate level nuclear waste that were in the constituency of Leyton or in adjoining constituencies; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Crowther
asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether any site in south Yorkshire has been included in a list of possibly suitable sites for the disposal of low level or intermediate level radioactive waste.
