Water Authorities (Price Increases)

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing information available on the price increases to customers by each water authority for 1987–88.

Mr. John Patten
Water authorities make a return to the Department in March each year setting out details of  their charges for the following financial year. I will write to the hon. Member when returns for 1987–88 have been received and analysed.
