I beg to move, That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said amendment. This is a purely technical drafting amendment. The clause at present refers to "section 8 of the Education Act 1944". The amendment makes it clear that the reference is to section 8 (1) (a). The amendment was first moved by a Member of another place in pursuant of greater clarity, and the Government accepted it in the spirit in which it was offered. I do not think that this is a contentious matter.
