Mr. Gregory To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what is the most recent figure for empty local authority housing for up to (a) six months, (b) 12 months and (c) over one year; if he will list the local authorities concerned; and if he will make a statement. Mr. Grist The total number of empty dwellings on 1 April 1990 was 3,492 representing 1·55 per cent. of the local authority stock. The number of properties vacant for more than six months was 327.
