Legal Costs Mr. Arthur Lewis asked the Attorney-General whether he will give a detailed explanation of the changes which he is considering to simplify legal procedure so as to reduce the costs of litigation in particular, and legal costs in general. The Attorney-General The County Court Rule Committee is being invited to approve a number of procedural changes, one of the effects of which would be to reduce costs. Mr. Arthur Lewis asked the Attorney-General why he will not recommend the appointment of a Royal Commission to investigate all matters pertaining to the legal and judicial system, with particular reference to the need for, and methods of, reducing legal costs involved in litigation.
