Family Income (Budget Measures) Mr. Gwilym Roberts asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what his estimates are of the effect of the Budget and associated measures on a married couple with two children and with typical spending patterns and total incomes of £5,000 per annum, £10,000 per annum, £15,000 per annum, £25,000 per annum and £50,000 per annum. Mr. Peter Rees Such families will all increase their real net income as a result of the Budget. The increases are 10 per cent. at £5,000 a year, 0·1 per cent. at £10,000 a year, 1·8 per cent. at £15,000 a year, 2·5 per cent. at £25,000 a year and 1·7 per cent. at £50,000 a year.
