To ask the Lord President of the Council what information he has on the normal starting times of legislatures in the Group of Seven countries.

Normal starting times of lower Houses are at present as follows: (a) Canada: Mondays—1300, Tuesdays—1100, Wednesdays—1400, Thursdays—1100, Fridays—1000;(b) France: 0930, except that there is a nine-hour pause after late-night sessions;(c) Federal Republic of Germany: 0900;(d) Italy: 0930;(e) Japan: 1300;(f) United States of America: Mondays and Tuesdays—1200, Wednesdays—1400, Thursdays and Fridays—1100.
