House Attends Divine Service
This being the day on which the House had resolved [17 th July] to attend Divine Service at the Church of Saint Margaret, Westminster, to invoke, on the fourth anniversary of the declaration of war, the Divine Blessing on our just cause, Mr. SPEAKER and the Members assembled in the House and proceeded thence to the Church, where a Service, which was attended by Their Majesties the King and Queen Mary and by the House of Lords, was held, and a Sermon was preached by the Most Reverend the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury.
