According to the annual reports of the Kenya Colony and Protectorate Department of Agriculture, imports of Ayrshire cows and heifers under the scheme of assisted importation of pedigree livestock were:—

1929	…	…	…	11 head.
1930	…	…	…	3 "
1931	…	…	…	3 "

The scheme of assisted importation was suspended as from the beginning of the year 1932, during which no Ayrshire cows or heifers were imported. I have no information regarding the year 1933.
