Beet-Sugar Industry (Committee's Report)

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the report of the committee of inquiry into the United Kingdom sugar industry under the chairmanship of Mr. Wilfred Greene, K.C., has yet been presented; and, if so, when it will be published?

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has yet received the report of the Greene committee of inquiry into the beet-sugar industry, and when it will be issued to the public?

The report to which my hon. and gallant Friends refer was presented to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and myself on 27th March. Arrangements were at once made for printing, and I hope that the report will be available for members by 12th April.

Greyhound Racing (Sundays)

asked the Home Secretary whether his Department proposes to take steps to stop greyhound racing without betting on Sundays after 1st July, 1935?

As at present advised, I do not see my way to propose legislation for this purpose.
