Czecho-Slovakia (Assets)

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the scheme for dealing with the claims of His Majesty's Government and of British holders of cash balances or bonds guaranteed by the late Government of Czecho-Slovakia against the Czech assets now held in this country has been drawn up; when it will be submitted to the House of Commons; and whether authority to make the necessary payments will be given by Order in Council or otherwise?

In view of the existing pressure of work, I am afraid that it will not be possible for the matter to be completed at the time originally suggested, but it will not be lost sight of.
