Women's Land Army (Air-Raid Precautions)
asked the Minister of Agriculture what steps are being taken to ensure that members of the W.L.A. who work in glasshouses are transferred to other duties during air raids.
The desirability of transferring glasshouse workers, including members of the Women's Land Army, to other work during an air raid is a matter which must be decided in each case by the employer having regard to the imminence of the danger. All members of the Women's Land Army have been provided with "tin hats" as a protection when at work.

Board Of Education (Advisory Bodies)
asked the President of the Board of Education if he will state the names of any committees, advisory councils, or other like bodies under the ægis of his Department on which any Members of either House of Parliament sit, together with the names of those Members.
Following is the answer:
- Committee on Public Schools—Rt. Rev. The Bishop of London. Professor W. J. Gruffydd, M.P.
- Burnham Committee on the Salaries of Teachers—Mr. F. Messer, M.P.
- Welsh Youth Committee—Mr. J. Griffiths, M.P. Sir William Jenkins, M.P.
- Victoria and Albert Museum Advisory Council—The Duke of Wellington. The Earl of Harewood. The Earl of Ilchester. Lord Harlech.
- Council for the Encouragement of Music and the Arts—Viscount Esher. Lord Keynes. Mrs. Cazalet Keir, M.P.
Pupils (Vaccination)
asked the President of the Board of Education whether he will reissue the Board's statement that no day school receiving a Government grant can make vaccination a condition of admission.
The Board would not regard the absence of vaccination as a reasonable ground for the exclusion of a day pupil from a grant-aided school. I am not aware that any difficulties have arisen in this connection, but if my hon. Friend has any cases in mind I will look into them.
