Post Office, Birkenhead

asked the Postmaster-General if he will expedite the work of restoring the head Post Office at Birkenhead; and if he will give a date for its commencement.

My hon. Friend is under a misapprehension. The badly damaged building next to the post office at Birkenhead is not Crown property. There is no restoration required at the Birkenhead branch post office.
